About Us

Amika Bookkeeping is a small bookkeeping practice based in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland where Principal Bookkeeper, Marisa Thompson, has been a local for most of her life.  She has seen her home town transform from a farming community into a bustling business center.   

Marisa has developed her career in financial administration over the past 15 years, including 10 years as a previous business owner within the construction industry.  She managed all aspects of the business with the help of her husband, then gained a formal qualification to fulfil her vision to create her own successful bookkeeping service and help others create success with business and work life balance.   

As a member of the Institute of Public Accountants and Australian Bookkeepers Network, Marisa is able to provide the support her clients need with the most up-to-date information and business practices available. 

As a certified bookkeeper and registered BAS agent, Marisa is looking forward to helping new and existing businesses gain some freedom by providing a bookkeeping service that is not only, cost effective and reliable, but also takes the stress out of the numbers to provide her clients with the extra time they deserve to spend with family and friends or growing their business.
